SubScape is a FREE, multi-day, multi-stage celebration of the subversive elements fueling Baltimore’s bleeding-edge underground. 3 Days, 4 Stages, 50+ Bands, throughout Artscape weekend at local independent venues.

ORGANIZERS:
MICHAEL HABIF – As the founder and creative director of Showplace, he has created Baltimore’s most comprehensive guide to Baltimore underground music events. He is known for drumming in bands such as Tripper, Leisure Sport, and War On Women.
KIM TE – As head of booking at The Crown she books 40-50 shows a month, working with countless local, regional, and national acts. Guitarist for Natural Velvet and nu-electro sweethearts Insatiable High, Kim Te is Baltimore’s #1 purveyor of distorted echo.
ANDY PHILLIPS – Wax Atlas Records owner Andy Phillips is a veteran of event programming who has worked locally with SCAPE SCAPE and FIELDS FEST, as well as on national events with THE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART, COMEDY CENTRAL, SXSW, and CMJ.
